Featured prominently in the original Rocky, this large cloth banner of Rocky Balboa was the focus of one of the major scenes in the film when Balboa visits the Spectrum Arena on the night before his bout with Apollo Creed.

Two of these posters were created especially for the film, one of Stallone's character and one of Carl Weather's Creed.  In the aforementioned scene, Rocky becomes concerened over an inaccuracy in the poster - the fact that his shorts are shown as being red with a white stripe.  This part of the dialogue was written in after these large banners were finished when producers noticed the discrepancy between the poster and Stallone's wardrobe for the fight - white shorts with a red stripe.
