ROCKY PINBALL MACHINE

Produced in 1982 by Gottleib, Rocky is a very difficult game to find as only 1,504 machines were ever made. It is believed that even less than that were ever actually produced in their entirety.

The basic concept is to knock down 10 drop targets numbered as rounds 1-10.  The crowd roars when rounds are won and after a certain period of time if you have not knocked down the next round you lose that round until the end of the 10 round sequence.

A variation of this game (see image below) was featured in Rocky III, however, the machine in the film was merely a prop designed specifically for III and was not actually a complete game. When the real game was released, the backglass and cabinet were drastically different from the game shown in the movie.
