Following in the
current trend of directors giving the internet full
access of movie production, Sylvester Stallone has
launched a blog for Rocky Balboa, the next (and
last) Rocky sequel which is currently in
production.
The first video blog
has Stallone talking about the training in
pre-production and the planning of the fight sequences.
We even get to see Rocky in action in the ring as they
plan blocking for the fight. At the end of the two
minute video update we get a glimpse of Stallone in
various different costumes which will be used in the
film from what appears to be a filmed costume test.

Frank Stallone, one of
America's best Big Band & Jazz Singers, is bringing
his "Day In Day Out" Tour to Branson,
Missouri. Show every Monday - Saturday at the Branson
White House Theatre from October 31st through December
10th, 2005.
Stallone, a GRAMMY, GOLDEN GLOBE & ACADEMY
AWARD-nominated artist, is one of music's most renowned
and loved Big Band, Jazz & Blues Singers. Tony
Bennett said it best, when talking about Frank and his
music, "Frank Stallone's new album is a knockout.
It's the kind of music that I love to hear and be
around."
Stallone, who has performed for sold out audiences from
Las Vegas to London, is now set to premier his "Day
In Day Out" tour in Branson, Missouri. This tour is
so much more than just a concert or show; the "Day
In Day Out" tour is a true "entertainment
experience" that encompasses the multi-faceted
40-year career of Frank Stallone. Audiences will be
taken to a legendary "Las Vegas" showroom
while listening to Stallone's stylistic performance of
"Big Band Standards." Feel the power of the
music that Stallone wrote and performed for his brother
Sylvester's movies, Rocky I, II and III,
the theme from Rambo and the phenomenal hits from
John Travolta's "Staying Alive." Stallone will
then take guitar in hand and lead you on a soulful
journey of his music roots performing legendary Jazz,
Blues and acoustic guitar tunes that truly reflect the
passion of this man and his music.

The
one-time poster boy for gold-chains, Mr T, will return
to the film series that helped kick off his career. The
former "A-Team" star will reprise his role as
boxer Clubber Lang in "Rocky 6", opposite
Sylvester Stallone.
The tough-talking 80's icon confirmed his involvement in
the sequel on radio's Howard Stern show.
In the new movie, Clubber Lang - who played Rocky
Balboa's opponent in "Rocky III" - will now be
a commentator.
Lang mightn't be the only series star making a comeback
in the new sequel. The characters of Duke (played by
Tony Burton in the films) and Paulie (played by Burt
Young in all the flicks) are also reportedly penciled in
to return. Dolph's still waiting for his invite.

"The
Contender" has
been cancelled after just one season for failing to
capture a strong audience. The
show has been dogged by a number of problems - including
the suicide death of a contestant - and will not be back
for a second season.
It isn't the only
well-hyped show cut by bosses at TV network NBC - the
axe has also fallen on the latest "Law &
Order" spin-off "Trial By Jury", which
has been struggling in the ratings following the death
of its star Jerry Orbach. The
network has already cut past favorite shows
"American Dreams" and firefighter drama
"Third Watch".

A contestant in Sly
Stallone's upcoming NBC boxing reality series "The
Contender" tragically committed suicide early
Monday in West Philadelphia, according to a published
report.
Najai "Nitro"
Turpin, 22, a Philly native who was only weeks away from
the show's March 7 premiere, killed himself around 4
a.m. in front of his girlfriend, the Philadelphia Daily
News reported Tuesday.
An NBC spokesman told
the paper, "We're still mourning the loss of a man
we came to know. The show will continue."
Stallone described
Turpin in the still-to-air premiere as "a tough,
punchy street kid from Philadelphia fighting for a
better life for his family."

Sly
appears in the November, 2004 issue of Maxim Magazine
and has the following to say about Rocky:
Has
working on "The Contender" gotten you fired up
to make Rocky 6?
Stallone: I'm always
fired up to make another Rocky. It dawned on me a
long time ago that I have this character who's almost
autobiographical, so his story can keep going. The
character can go places where the actor is in his life.
The movies almost become documentaries.
So where is Rocky now?
Stallone: Society says to
people, "Step aside; age gracefully." I've
never thought there was anything graceful about aging.
So I used what George Foreman did with his comeback
fight a few years ago as a model. Everyone thought he
was a joke, but he followed his own drum.

1977's
Oscar night has been named as one of the most memorable
moments in Academy Award history. That night,
before Rocky's big win as Best Picture, Muhammed
Ali surprised presenter Sylvester Stallone on stage,
claiming he was the real Apollo Creed, and the two began
to spar. After goofing around, Stallone made a very
sincere statement, saying that even though he might not
win anything that night, he would still remember this
night forever to be standing next to a "100%
certified legend."
