PAIR OF BOOTS
Here's your chance to own a piece
of Rocky
history! This pair of boxing boots, autographed by Sylvester
Stallone, is currently available for purchase.
The boxing boots are Size 10 and
were produced by Ringside Products, whose logo appears on the
reverse of the boot. Ringside Products, upon being
questioned about this pair, stated that they produce these types
of boots for the motion picture industry. The company may be
reached in New York at 913-888-1719.
Sylvester Stallone's
authenticated signature is written in silver marker on the right
boot and reads: "Best - Sly Stallone". On the
reverse side Stallone has inscribed the boot: "To
K......" the name is difficult to decipher. The left
boot has been labeled with the underlined word "Rocky".
The boots were purchased from a
very reputable auction dealer who also owned an art house and
casino in Reno, Nevada. They were represented as having been
worn by Stallone in the original Rocky
(1976), however it appears as though they could possibly have been
used on one of the later films in the series such as Rocky IV.
Included is a letter of authentification from Stremmel Auctions
dated March 18, 1997.
